Mac Studio Tech Foundation

I bought this compact foundation awhile ago but never got round in trying it out til now.  The reason why i bought the Mac Studio Tech Foundation in the first place was that i wanted a compact foundation that i could carry around in my handbag if i needed to retouch my make-up.

The shade that i got it in was NC27, as the make-up artist at the MAC counter did a swatch on my face to match the right shade for my skin tone.  Although, previously i have had a swatch test done at the MAC counter and i got matched with NC35 when i purchased the MAC Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 but boy did the girl get it sooooo wrong !!! so now im having to mix my foundations to lighten this.

My results
The Mac Studio Tech Foundation provides you with a sponge to apply the foundation on but i prefer using the 190 foundation brush so that i can apply evenly all over the face and blend to achieve a flawless look.
The Mac Studio Tech foundation provides me with the coverage that i need so thats a plus =)
The downside is that i found that after application, the skin feels very sticky :s so applying loose powder or finishing powder to set the foundation is a must.
Also, as the day went on, my  nose became really shiney, even more than usual but nothing  Mac Blot Powder can't  resolve.

Orange and Vanilla Raisin Marble Cake

Having another baking session again, it is going to be a weekly thing now :D so more blog posts in what i come up with ^_^

This week, I have tried to be more creative and combining different flavours for the cake instead of the basic chocolate marble effect using Valencian Orange Extract to get the orange flavouring and also Green colouring to add colour to the cake.
Extra ingredients to add texture to the marble cake that i have included is a handful of raisins.

Pretty Flowers

------------------
 Do u like these flowers?
These flowers are actually created using drinking straws, yes drinking straws! :D  can you believe it?
When i first saw these in Hong Kong a few years back, i was astonished to find that such a nice bouquet of flowers were made out of drinking straws so i bought a few hundred drinking straws in various colours to try out for myself, along with some green wire for the stem, some mesh to wrap each individual flower up and some coloured paper to hold the bouquet of straw flowers together.

Anyone want to learn how to make these?
